Ski
and snowboard tuition can be pre-booked (early reservation recommended in peak weeks)
with a wide choice of French or British operated ski school .
Group or private lessons
are available. For advanced skiers we can arrange specialist clinics, off-piste guiding
and heli-skiing.
Novice families or groups may find La Grande Terche
suits them, whilst a relatively small resort it is good value and ideal
for learning.

Available all season for adults and children with ESF, English speaking lessons are in the mornings.
British schools may only offer group lessons in peak peaks.
Ski, snowboard and snowpark skills are covered. |
Peak week early booking is essential if you wish to ensure your first choice.
If there are a number of people at the same level in your party check the cost of private lessons, it may be better all round value.
Some schools offer both child and teenage lessons.
Lessons normally start on a Sunday or Monday, schools may not admit people arriving later, especially if they are novices. |

Lessons are available for single people or small groups. Mixed ability groups are not generally excepted.
There is reduced capacity during peak peaks when there is greater demand for group lessons. |
| For young ones • |
Some schools offer Piou Piou or Garderie facilities for kids too young to join full ski lessons. |
The ESF at La Grande Terche, in our village, offer half or full day on skis with perhaps half a day in a play facility. lunch can be included. |
| Back country trips • |
Back country and off-piste guided trips are available from most schools. |
Great fun, especially when conditions are right. |
