| On the 5 day holidays you will be taken on 2 very full and intense tours.You will be taken out on location at various times. Field trips and gallery visits are a crucial part of this course to help you to gain an sight into different ways of thinking, looking and responding to the world around us and into ourselves. We will gather visual references using a variety of methods. After all this inspiration you will have 3 practical working days. The course is intensive, days are long but exciting. Be prepared to experiment and investigate.
Jane is a qualified teacher and lecturer and has taught all levels of ability for many years. She also offers painting holidays in Cornwall, England and Stornoway, Scotland at various dates across the year round. Class sizes are small to allow more time to work with each guest individually.

I can help compile your portfolios and offer advice etc. The course is also excellent for anyone that is teaching and who may need to recharge their batteries and their own creative minds. I've been there myself! I set the pace to suit the needs of the individual. You will receive as much tuition as you require/request but also as much space and time to yourself as you need. What will I need?
Bring sensible shoes and wet weather gear. We never
know! All materials and equipment necessary to complete
this course are provided but feel free to bring your
favourite brush! It would also be useful to bring a small sketchbook and digital camera if you have one. Oh and
an open mind! |
